Based on Atul Satya Koushik’s Hindi play ‘Ballygunge 1990’ and directed by Avinash Das, Raat Baaki Hai is the movie on Zee 5 with actors Paoli Dam (Vasuki), Anup Soni (Karthik), Dipanita Sharma (Vani) Rahul Dev (Rajesh Ahlawat) and others.
It is a murder suspense story with an unexpected end shocking viewers. On engagement night of Kartik and Vani, suddenly Vani is murdered and Kartik goes missing being the prime suspect. Then investigation starts as usual and the story brings some persons forward as suspects. It is a story of events that happened during only one night and we get involved with unusual turns of the story. There Kartik goes on running frightened and unexpectedly reaches a King’s palace where he coincidentally meets his former lover Vasuki and their memories come with flashback for some time. Anup has acted well and his expressions speak a lot.
The aggressive police officer Rajesh Ahlawat finds Kartik missing during the interrogation of people attending the engagement function and starts searching him. Can Ahlawat solve the mystery and is Kartik really guilty will be answered when you watch the movie till the end. Though we can have guesses and predictions, the end is interesting.
